Cold Weather Shelters:
HomeFirst has been a leading provider of services, shelter, and housing to those experiencing homelessness in Santa Clara County since 1980. We are the largest provider of Cold Weather Shelter in the area.
The Cold Weather Shelter Program (CWSP) in Gilroy is open from October 15, 2018 to March 15, 2019. The Mountain View CWSP is open from Nov. 26, 2018 to March 31, 2019. The program is funded by the County of Santa Clara and has been operated primarily by HomeFirst for over 35 years.

Overnight Warming Locations:
During periods of declared inclement weather, HomeFirst operates up to four Overnight Warming Locations (OWL) in partnership with the City of San Jose. For updates on OWL activation, please visit the City of San Jose's website or call the Homeless Helpline to confirm days and locations of operation: (408) 510-7600.
