We are currently looking for an administrative volunteer for the Sobrato Family Living Center’s front desk. This opportunity is a minimum of 15-20 hours per week and requires at least a six-month commitment.
At your facility: We have several service activities available, including assembling clothing kits, toiletry (hygiene) kits, snack bags, laundry kits, and more. We can handle large or small groups and are flexible about the arrangements. Most activities are appropriate for children as well as adults. Many groups pay for the supplies to help us keep our costs to a minimum. We bring the materials and handle set up and clean up.
At our facilities: We have groups who provide meal services, host holiday parties and other activities at our family living centers, perform maintenance and beautification projects, and help us process in-kind donations.
HomeFirst also offers challenging internships to BSW/MSW students and MFT Trainees. Interns may work in programs specifically for veterans, transition age youth, mentally ill adults, families with children, and the chronically homeless. Click here for more information.
