Interim Housing
HomeFirst offers two forms of interim housing: Bridge Housing Communities (BHC) and Emergency Interim Housing (EIH). They take the form of tiny homes or converted hotels/motels to provide safe and secure transitional housing to adults. Residents have access to on-site case managers, other supportive services, and the resources they need to build a lifestyle of self-sufficiency.
Bridge Housing Communities (BHC)
The Bridge Housing Communities (BHCs), Felipe and Mabury, provide safe and secure interim housing to eligible adults. Each BHC offers private sleeping cabins with shared showers and restrooms. Residents can use the communal kitchen, laundry room, computer lab, garden, and dog run, which are available at each site, and additionally, have access to case managers, on-site supportive services, and the resources that they need to build a lifestyle of self-sufficiency.
Emergency Interim Housing (EIH)
Emergency Interim Housing Sites (EIHs) - Bernal, Rue Ferrari, Arena, First Street, and Labath Landing - provide safe and secure interim housing to eligible adults. Each EIH features private rooms with personal showers and restrooms. Residents are provided with three meals daily, and can use the communal kitchen, laundry room, computer lab, garden, and dog run. Furthermore, they have access to case managers, on-site supportive services, and the resources that they need to build a lifestyle of self-sufficiency.
