Wolfe Cevorov, known as "Roadman" for his legendary years as a roadie for Smash Mouth, has found a new home thanks to the efforts of the San Jose-based homeless agency, HomeFirst. At 57, Roadman’s roadie career took a toll on his health, including brain damage from a severe fall, which led him to homelessness. After years of living on the streets, HomeFirst stepped in to provide support, offering temporary housing and working towards securing a permanent residence for Roadman. A beloved figure in the rock world, Roadman was the inspiration behind Smash Mouth's song “Roadman,” reflecting his commitment to the band's success. Now, Roadman is ready to hit the road again—this time towards a fresh start in a permanent home.
